Who We Serve
We serve the adults and children living on the Near North Side of the City of St. Louis.
Our facilities are located in the City’s Fifth Ward.
The Youth & Family Center serves the entire Fifth Ward, but a significant cluster of clients reside in the Ward’s St. Louis Place and Old North St. Louis Neighborhoods.
In the St. Louis Place Neighborhood:
- There are 2,763 residents
- 997 St. Louis Place residents (36%) are between the ages of 5 and 19
- 371 residents (40%) own their own homes

In the Old North St. Louis Neighborhood:
- There are 1,498 residents
- 601 Old North St. Louis residents (40%) are between the ages of 5 and 19
- 128 residents (8%) own their own homes
